Setting up your ChargeAutomation with Guesty
Setting up your ChargeAutomation with Guesty
Login to your ChargeAutomation account here chargeautomation.com.
Connect your payment gateway (for example Stripe, etc) and choose if you want to turn on "Chargeback Protection" feature then click continue.
On PMS step, choose Guesty from the PMS list.
How to get your integration Token
To connect your Guesty account with ChargeAutomation you will need your integration Token from Guesty.
Login to your Guesty account, then hover over "Integrations"
Click on Marketplace
On the Marketplace page, search for ChargeAutomation and click on "connect"
Generate and copy your integration Token like below.
4. Once you have your integration Token, paste it into ChargeAutomation and click on the "Continue" button for a successful integration.
Continue below steps within ChargeAutomation
Now you can continue and customize your guest experience & payment rules per Booking Channel & per Property. Last step is to activate your properties and you're done.
The rules will apply to new reservations after you go live. You can also manually share the same rules to existing reservations if you choose to.

When Pre checkin is completed in ChargeAutomation, we can push a custom field back to your reservation on Guesty to trigger an automation. This is automatically set up in ChargeAutomation. To see the settings, please follow below steps:
Go to Settings >> PMS Modification
If not already activated, activate "Pre Checkin Complete" like below:
Under Custom Placeholder, put the value [caPreCheckinComplete] or change it to any value you want.
[caPreCheckinComplete] adds a value of "Completed" like below
Do not forget to click on Save.

Property Access Codes and Property Wifi Details:
Property Access Codes and Wifi details can be synced from Guesty by following the below steps:
Go to your Guesty Account
Navigate to Automations >> Custom Fields
Create two new Custom Fields: accesscode and wifi
Set the new Custom Fields visibility to Public
Navigate to the Properties page
Navigate to the Custom Fields tab
Click on Edit like above and set both Custom Fields to the correct values
Click Save
