We are happy to announce that ChargeAutomation is integrated with Paypal Business!

Setting up your ChargeAutomation with Paypal Business

Login to your <a href="https://www.paypal.com/ca/business/accept-payments" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Paypal Business Account </a>

On your <a href="https://www.paypal.com/mep/dashboard" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Paypal Dashboard</a>, click on "Developer" at the top of the page

Select Apps &amp; Credentials and ensure you are in Live Mode

New accounts come with a Default Application in the REST API apps section. To create a new project, select Create App.

Copy the client ID and client secret for your app.

Login to your ChargeAutomation account here <a href="https://app.chargeautomation.com/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">chargeautomation.com</a>

Go to <a href="https://app.chargeautomation.com/client/v2/payment-gateway-connect" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Settings &gt;&gt; Gateway Connection</a> and select "Paypal Business" from the dropdown

Fill out the details you copied above and click on "Continue"

1. Login to your <a href="https://www.paypal.com/ca/business/accept-payments" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Paypal Business Account </a>
2. On your <a href="https://www.paypal.com/mep/dashboard" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Paypal Dashboard</a>, click on "Developer" at the top of the page

6. Login to your ChargeAutomation account here <a href="https://app.chargeautomation.com/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">chargeautomation.com</a>
7. Go to <a href="https://app.chargeautomation.com/client/v2/payment-gateway-connect" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Settings &gt;&gt; Gateway Connection</a> and select "Paypal Business" from the dropdown
8. Fill out the details you copied above and click on "Continue"

1. If you are getting the error "PAYER_ACTION_REQUIRED" while attempting payments, please follow below steps
 1. Log in to the <a href="https://developer.paypal.com/dashboard/applications">Developer Dashboard</a>
 2. Switch to Live Mode
 3. Under REST API apps, select your app name.
 4. Under App Settings &gt; App Feature Options, check Accept payments.
 5. Expand Advanced options. Confirm that Vault is unchecked.
