Setting up your RemoteLock account with ChargeAutomation
Login to your ChargeAutomation account here chargeautomation.com
Navigate to Settings >> Integrations >> Smartlocks
Select RemoteLock
Select your Property from the drop down to connect with RemoteLock and click on "Connect to RemoteLock"
You will be redirected to RemoteLock's Login/Authorization page. Enter your username and Password and click on "Authorize"
ChargeAutomation gives you the ability to connect to more than 1 RemoteLock account. Once you connect a single property to a RemoteLock account, you can copy the same credentials to multiple properties by using our "Copy Credentials" feature.
Click on Copy Credentials and select all the properties you would like to use the same account.
After credentials are all set up, map each rental to a unique lock by clicking on the "Select a lock" dropdown and activating the rental.
Click on "Save" in the image above
The access code will be automatically generated for your bookings moving forward.
Want to personalize the number of digits for your codes?
You have full control over how many digits you want to autogenerate for your bookings.
In RemoteLock, go to "Account Settings"
Under the section "Enforce Minimum Pin Lenght" you can decide how many digits you want to use for your codes - Make sure to select "Number of digits for autogenerated pins"

Standard Bookings: For reservations made more than 5 days in advance, access codes are automatically generated 5 days prior to arrival.
Last-Minute Bookings: For reservations made within 5 days of arrival, access codes are generated immediately upon booking.
Automatic Updates: Codes are instantly regenerated if the check-in/out dates change or if the guest is moved to a different rental unit.
Grace Period: To ensure a smooth transition, codes are active 15 minutes before the scheduled check-in time and 15 minutes after the scheduled check-out time.
If Remotelock is connected after a booking has already been synced into ChargeAutomation, the client must select “Schedule codes for old bookings” to automatically generate the codes.
