How to connect RemoteLock with ChargeAutomation

We are happy to announce that ChargeAutomation is integrated with RemoteLock!

Setting up your RemoteLock account with ChargeAutomation

  1. Login to your ChargeAutomation account here chargeautomation.com

  2. Navigate to Settings >> Integrations >> Smartlocks

  3. Select RemoteLock

  4. Select your Property from the drop down to connect with RemoteLock and click on "Connect to RemoteLock"

  5. You will be redirected to RemoteLock's Login/Authorization page. Enter your username and Password and click on "Authorize"

  6. ChargeAutomation gives you the ability to connect to more than 1 RemoteLock account. Once you connect a single property to a RemoteLock account, you can copy the same credentials to multiple properties by using our "Copy Credentials" feature.

    1. Click on Copy Credentials and select all the properties you would like to use the same account

  7. After credentials are all set up, map each rental to a unique lock by clicking on the "Select a lock" dropdown and activating the rental.

  8. Click on "Save" in the image above

  9. You are all Set!

  10. The access code will be automatically generated for your bookings moving forward

Important Notes about our integration with RemoteLock

  1. Access codes are generated 5 days before checkin. If Reservation is within 5 days then the access code is generated right away

  2. Access code is regenerated on these conditions:

    1. Check-in or check-out dates are updated

    2. Property is moved between properties/rentals

  3. Access codes have a grace period of 15 mins before check-in time and 15 mins after check-out time
