We are happy to announce that ChargeAutomation is integrated with Paypal - Website Payments Pro!

Connect your ChargeAutomation account with Paypal - Website Payments Pro

To create your API signature:

  1. Log in to your PayPal business account at www.paypal.com.

  2. Hover over your name and then click Account Settings from the dropdown menu.

  3. On the Account access page, click Update for the API access item.

  4. Click Manage API Credentials in the NVP/SOAP API Integration (Classic) section.

  5. Note: If you have already generated an API signature, clicking Manage API Credentials displays the signature information. If you must generate an API signature, click Remove to delete the existing API signature.

  6. Select Request API signature. Then, click Agree and Submit.

Next Steps within ChargeAutomation

Step 1 - Log in to ChargeAutomation.com


Step 2 - In the top right corner click the “Settings” drop-down and select “Gateway Connection”


Step 3 - Select "PayPalWebsitePaymentsPro" for Payment Gateway

Step 4 - Enter your credentials

Get the fields from your PayPal account as instructed in above steps

  • Username: The API username for authentication.

  • Password: The API password for authentication.

  • Signature: The API signature for authentication.

  • Version: The version of the PayPal API being used.


Step 5 - Click the "Continue" button once all fields have been filled out correctly
