We’ve added a faster way to manage guest access codes directly from the Booking Listings page.
Hosts can now generate or regenerate system-generated access codes inside the expanded booking details, without opening another page or modal.
Why This Update Helps
Managing guest access should be quick and simple, especially when preparing bookings for arrival.
With this update, you can:
Generate access codes directly from the Booking Listings page
Regenerate an existing code in one click
Avoid opening the full booking page or extra modal
Keep access code management faster and more convenient
How It Works
Go to Bookings
Open the Booking Listings page
Expand the booking details
Find the Access Code section
If no access code exists, you’ll see a Generate button.
Click Generate to create a new access code. Once created, the UI will update to show the new code and a Regenerate button.
If an access code already exists, you’ll see the current code and a Regenerate button.
Click Regenerate to replace the existing code with a new one.
Long Access Codes
To keep the page layout clean, long access codes are shortened in the Booking Listings view.
Access codes display up to 10 characters.
For example: B1612g5555…
To view the full access code, hover over the shortened code value.
When Buttons Are Available
The Generate and Regenerate buttons are only shown when the access code can be managed by the system.
These buttons will not appear if:
The access code comes from the PMS
The access code was manually entered
Smart lock or access code generation is not connected
Access code generation is not available for that booking
What Happens Next?
After generating or regenerating a code, the Booking Listings page updates immediately with the latest access code.
The code remains visible in the expanded booking details, making it easier for hosts to manage guest access without leaving the page.
