Sell Upsells Anywhere with Direct Upsell Links

You can now send guests direct links to specific upsells, making it easier than ever for them to purchase add-ons—no matter where the request comes from.

Whether guests ask via your PMS or AI tools like Besty AI, Hostbuddy, Conduit, or others, you can now share a single link that takes them straight to the upsell checkout.


What’s New?

Each upsell in ChargeAutomation now has a unique Upsell Deep Link.

This link:

  • Works whether or not online check-in is completed

  • Takes guests directly to the selected upsell

  • Automatically loads the guest’s reservation details

  • Also shows the full upsell marketplace, so guests can explore other available add-ons


How It Works

  1. Copy the Upsell Deep Link

    • Go to Upsells in ChargeAutomation

    • Open the upsell you want to sell

    • Copy the Upsell Deep Link provided in the upsell settings under More Settings

  2. Add the link to your tools

    • Paste the link into:

      • Your PMS messages

      • AI chat tools (Besty AI, Hostbuddy, Conduit, etc.)

        • Append this Upsell ID within the dynamic link in your AI Chat tool settings.

  3. Send it to the guest

    • When a guest requests an add-on (early check-in, late checkout, extra nights, etc.), simply share the link

    • The guest lands directly on that upsell and can complete the purchase instantly


Example Use Case

A guest messages asking for an early check-in.

Instead of manual follow-ups, you simply reply with the upsell link.
The guest clicks it and:

  • Sees the early check-in upsell immediately

  • Can purchase it right away

  • Can also browse other available upsells for their reservation

  • Sell upsells outside of online check-in

  • Perfect for AI-powered guest messaging

  • Faster guest experience, fewer manual steps

  • Increased upsell conversion with less effort


Good to Know

  • The link automatically fills in the guest’s booking details using your PMS variables

  • No additional setup is required once the upsell is created

  • Guests will only see upsells that are available for their reservation
