Follow these steps to enable and configure automatic guest data submissions to SIBA:
Step 1: Navigate to the Property Settings
Log in to your ChargeAutomation account.
Go to Settings -> Properties and click on the pen icon next to the property you want to configure.
In the property settings menu, click on "Authority Reporting."
Step 2: Activate Automatic Submission
Toggle the switch labeled "Activate the automatic sending of guests data to your police account" to ON.
Once enabled, additional fields will appear for configuration.
Step 3: Configure SIBA Credentials
Enter the credentials provided by SIBA:
Hotel Unit NIPC: Unit ID from SIBA
Access Key: Access Key provided by SIBA
Establishment Number: 0000
Step 4: Test the Connection
Once credentials are entered, the system will verify them automatically.
A "Connected to SIBA" message will appear if the connection is successful.
If there’s an issue, an error message will prompt you to recheck your credentials.
Step 5: Save Your Configuration
Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page to store your settings.
Your compliance settings are now active, and guest data will be submitted automatically to SIBA.
Step 6: Monitor Compliance Status on the Booking Listings Page
Go to the Booking Listings Page in your account.
Look for the new "Compliance Status" column in the table.
Green: Connected and submitting data successfully.
Red: Not connected; action required.
Yellow: Connection pending or credentials incomplete.
Use the filter to sort bookings by status, ensuring you address any non-compliance.
Step 7: Confirm Guest Journey Settings for Compliance
To ensure SIBA receives all required guest data, you must align your Guest Journey Editor with legal requirements.

Go to:
Settings → Guest Journey Editor → Collect Basic Information From Guest(s)
Make sure the following options are selected:
Who is required to complete the above details?
✅ All Guests (Adult, Children and Babies)When is online check-in considered completed?
✅ When all required guests complete it
These settings ensure that:
Data is collected from every guest in the reservation
Online check-in is only marked complete once all required guests have submitted their details
Your property stays fully compliant with SIBA legal requirements
