We're excited to introduce a powerful new feature for your upsell toolkit: External Upsell. This enhancement gives you complete flexibility to promote any external service or content directly in your guest portal, simply by embedding a URL.

🔗 What is External Upsell?

With External Upsell, you can now:

  • Embed a custom video, webpage, booking link, or any third-party content

  • Showcase external services (like airport pickups, local tours, or partner promotions)

  • Personalize the guest experience with branded or tailored content

No coding required — just drop in the link and go!

🚗 Example Use Case: Airport Pickup Service

Let’s say you want to offer a private airport pickup as an add-on for your guests. You can now embed a YouTube video, external booking page, or partner’s website directly in the guest portal.

💡 How It Works

  1. Navigate to the Upsells section in your ChargeAutomation dashboard.

  2. Click Add Upsell or edit an existing one.

  3. Set the Upsell Type to External.

  4. Paste the full URL you want to embed — this could be a YouTube video, Calendly page, or any external site.

  5. Add an image, title, and pricing info to complete the listing.
