How to Set the Check-in/Check-out Time for a Reservation

When a reservation is fetched into ChargeAutomation, it may include a check-in and check-out time from your Property Management System (PMS). If no specific times are provided, we default to the property default check-in and check-out times.

How Check-in/Check-out Times Are Determined:

  • For most PMSs, we default to the property default check-in and check-out times.

  • For Hostaway, Guesty, and Track, we use the check-in and check-out times at the reservation level.

How to Update Check-in/Check-out Time:

  • If the time comes from your PMS, update it directly in your PMS or within ChargeAutomation under the Booking Details Tab in the "Check-in Time" section.

    • Got to Booking Listings Page and click on Booking Details like below

    • You can update the Check-in Time in the field below

  • If the time is set by the property default, update it in your PMS at the property level and then resync the property in ChargeAutomation.

    • To resync your property, go to Property Listings Page and click on edit on the property of choice

    • Click on Re-sync
