Once the required guest information has been collected, ChargeAutomation handles the reporting workflow automatically.
⚙️ Setting Up UAE Authority Reporting
1️⃣ Open Property Settings
Log in to your ChargeAutomation account.
Go to Settings → Properties.
Find the property you want to configure.
Click the ✏️ Edit icon.
Select Authority Reporting.
2️⃣ Enable UAE Authority Reporting
Within Authority Reporting:
Activate the option to send guest data to your authority/police account.
Turn on Send guest data automatically.
Select where to send data.
Enter the Username and Password.
Select a default payment type for all reservations
3️⃣ Validate Your Connection
Once you've entered your credentials:
Click Validate.
ChargeAutomation will verify the connection.
If successful, you'll see a Connection Successfully Completed message.
Your UAE authority reporting configuration is now active.

If the connection cannot be verified:
Check your Username and Password.
Check if you have selected a Payment Method
If the problem continues, contact ChargeAutomation Support with the error message and your property details.
📊 Monitor Your Authority Reporting Status
You can check the reporting status for individual bookings.
To check a booking:
Open the Booking Details page.
Locate the Legal Authority field.
Review the current submission status.
You can also use the available manual submission option when needed.
🔄 What Happens If Guest Information Changes?
Guest or reservation information may sometimes change after the initial reporting process.
Examples include:
👤 Guest information is updated
📅 Reservation dates change
👥 Additional guest information is added
📝 Other reportable information is modified
If reportable information changes, make sure the booking contains the correct and complete guest information so that the authority reporting workflow can process the updated data appropriately.
