Follow these steps to enable and configure automatic guest data submissions to AVS:
ℹ️ Before connecting ChargeAutomation to your AVS account, you must contact the spa administration or municipality (Kurverwaltung/Gemeinde) and ask them to activate the web service connection with ChargeAutomation .
Step 1: Navigate to the Property Settings
Log in to your ChargeAutomation account.
Go to Settings -> Properties and click on the edit icon next to the property you want to configure.
In the property settings menu, click on "Authority Reporting."
Step 2: Configure AVS Credentials
Enter the credentials provided by AVS:
Kurverwaltung
Firmaid
Objektid
Step 3: Connection Confirmation
Once credentials are entered,
Click on "Connect to AVS " and the system will verify your credentials automatically.
A "Connected to AVS" message will appear if the connection is successful.
If there’s an issue, an error message will prompt you to recheck your credentials.
Your compliance settings are now active, and guest data will be submitted automatically to AVS.
Step 4: Monitor Compliance Status on the Booking Listings Page
Go to the Booking Details Page of any booking you want to see compliance status
Look for the new "Legal Authority" field which will contain the status of the submission
You also have the ability to manually send the data using the "Send Manually" button
Step 5: Confirm Guest Journey Settings for Compliance
To ensure AVS receives all required guest data, you must align your Guest Journey Editor with legal requirements.
What to check
Go to:
Settings → Guest Journey Editor → Collect Basic Information From Guest(s)
Make sure the following options are selected:
Who is required to complete the above details?
✅ All Guests (Adult, Children and Babies)When is online check-in considered completed?
✅ When all required guests complete it
These settings ensure that:
Data is collected from every guest in the reservation
Online check-in is only marked complete once all required guests have submitted their details
Your property stays fully compliant with AVS legal requirements

Yes, you can. Locate the booking you want to submit, go to "Booking Details" -> "Online check-in" and edit the guest details. Afterwards, you just need to click "Manual Submission to Authority".
