Property Availability for Upsells lets you offer Early Check-in, Late Check-out, and Gap Nights based on real-time availability in your PMS calendar.
ChargeAutomation automatically checks your PMS availability before displaying an upsell, helping you avoid conflicts and only offer extensions when the property is actually available.
What Does This Do?
Property Availability automatically checks your PMS calendar to confirm whether a property is:
Available X hours or days before check-in
Available X hours or days after check-out
If the property is available within the configured timeframe, the upsell is shown to the guest.
If the property is not available, the upsell is automatically hidden.
Why This Matters
This is especially useful for time-sensitive upsells such as:

🚀 Sell More with Direct Upsell Links
You can link guests directly to a specific upsell by adding &upsell=UPSELL_ID to your check-in URL.
For example, with Hostbuddy:

This takes guests directly to the selected upsell instead of requiring them to navigate through the main menu, which can help increase conversions.
🔄 PMS Sync & Automation
When a guest purchases an Early Check-in or Late Check-out, ChargeAutomation can push the selected time-slot details back to your PMS where supported.
This is available for supported PMS integrations such as Guesty, Hostaway, Hostify, and others, helping keep your calendar and housekeeping schedules in sync.
🔔 Custom Upsell Notifications
You can configure custom email or SMS notifications for individual upsells.
This allows you to notify specific team members when an important upsell is purchased or requested, such as a Gap Night or a high-value extension.
