To customize ID collection by booking source in ChargeAutomation, follow these steps:
Navigate to setting > Guest Journey Editor
This is where you can customize the check-in experience for your guests.
Click on Collect Passport/ID
This opens the configuration panel for guest ID collection.
Choose Booking Sources
Select the booking sources from which you want to collect or exclude ID verification.
4. Choose Your Verification Method
You can configure ID collection as either Automatic or Manual, depending on your needs.
Automatic Verification
You can enable Stripe-powered biometric identity verification.
Additional verification options may include:
Nationality Exceptions — Exclude specific nationalities from automatic verification.
Guest Selection — Require ID verification from the Primary Guest only or All Guests over 18.
ID Number Verification — Verify ID numbers for eligible US citizens.
Guest Age Check — Verify the guest's age.
Guest Name Check — Verify the guest's name.
Manual Collection
If you prefer to review guest documents yourself, you can configure ID collection for manual verification for the selected booking sources.
5. Save Your Changes
Click Save to apply your configuration.
The settings will apply to new bookings that match the selected booking source, property, or custom tag.
