This means you can promote complimentary services, included perks, loyalty benefits, or operational add-ons without charging guests during checkout.

Not every upsell needs to be paid. Sometimes, you may want guests to select an included service so your team can track, prepare, and fulfil it properly.
With Free Upsells, you can:
Offer Complimentary Services: Add free perks like welcome gifts, parking, early luggage drop-off, or guest requests
Improve Tracking: Free upsells are still saved in booking and upsell records, so your team can monitor what guests selected
Create a Better Guest Experience: Guests clearly see the item as Free or $0 throughout the journey
Avoid Unnecessary Payments: Free upsells do not trigger payment processing

Where Guests Will See Free
When an upsell is configured as free, guests will see it displayed as Free or $0 in all key areas:

Cart and Checkout
Guests can still select the upsell and add it to their cart, just like a paid upsell.
How to Set Up a Free Upsell 🛠️
Find Upsells in the Guest Experience section in the left-hand menu
Create a new upsell or open an existing one
Choose the pricing model you want to use
Set the price to 0
Save or update the upsell
Once saved, the upsell will appear as Free to guests wherever it is displayed.
Important: Free upsells are available for paid plans only.
If you are currently on the Basic plan and try to set an upsell price to $0 or Free, you will see an upgrade prompt. Upgrading your plan will unlock the ability to offer free add-ons to your guests.
What Happens Next?
When a guest selects a free upsell, it will be added to their cart and recorded on the booking. No payment will be attempted, but the upsell will still be tracked for reporting and fulfilment.
