What is Charge Automation?

Charge Automation was created to optimize the payment process of your short-term rental business.  It is used in conjunction with Booking Automation to manage the payments made on your properties.

How does it work?

When a booking is made and recognized by Booking Automation, Charge Automation checks to see if the payment was successful.  It sends automated emails depending on the outcome, prompting either the guest the owner to take action.

How do I connect Charge Automation with Booking Automation?

Go to settings->integration and follow the instructions.

I don't have a Booking Automation account.  Can I still use Charge automation?

A Booking Automation account is required to use Charge Automation.  We are currently working on a product that will allow any business to use Charge Automation.

Do I need to use Charge Automation in order to use Booking Automation?

No, using Charge Automation is purely optional.  

How much does this cost?

We charge 0.15% + 0.25 cents per successful transaction. There are no setup fees, monthly fees or hidden fees.

When do I pay?

When your free trial is over, your first payment will be 30 days after your subscription.  After that, you will be charged every 30 days.

How do I manually charge/refund a customer?

Go to bookings and click on the booking you wish to interact with.  You will be directed to a menu where you can interact with the booking, as well as input an amount.

What happens to the payment information?

All data is encrypted and transferred securely following PCI Compliance. Rest assured that you and your guests information is handled with utmost importance.
